ETHER ELEMENT FORMULA

The Ether Element, known in Sanskrit as The Akasha Mahabhuta is considered to be the first and most subtle element. In Sanskrit, it translates to “all-enclosing, omnipresent or all-pervading.” It permeates through the cosmos and is the omnipotent force for all life, sound, vibration and creation. It is the creative life force energy that gives drive and consciousness to existence. All the openings, passages, pathways and movements in our body are what correspond to the Akasha element. There is space within our ears so we can hear sound. There is space within our throat so we can swallow. There is space within our eyes so we can look at our environment. There is space between our joints so we can move, run, walk and dance. There is space within our hearts to keep the blood flowing.
Akasha is more than just the absence of matter, it is the original form of existence to which everything, and everyone formed and to which everything, and everyone shall return to.

The element of spirit does not have the same arrangements of correspondences as the physical elements, since spirit is not physical. Various systems may associate planets, tools, and so forth to it, but such correspondences are far less standardized than those of the other four elements.
The element of spirit goes by several names. The most common are spirit, ether or aether, and quintessence, which is Latin for “fifth element.”

This formula helps balance an excess or deficiency of the characteristics associated with ether element: the quintessence; the pure and subtle essence of a substance; new beginnings; the energy state before physical manifestation; organic; organization; the ability to rise above chaos; the ability and desire to focus on the inner life.

Useful for those who have one or more of the following characteristics:

are morbidly intense
speak in a loud voice
are unable to let go of anger and resentment, or who fly into rage easily
experience panic and desperation
feel cut off from a Higher Power
are selfish
need to either create roots or pull up worthless ones
have control issues to heal
feel they are out of control
are overly controlling
are attached to their worldly desires

In Ayurveda, ether element, “Akasha” is responsible for making the body soft porous and light. Akasha Mahabhuta, the ether element is connected to the sense of hearing. All opening and spacious organs of the body are areas of the Akasha Mahabhuta, it provides space for the movement of different fluids and nutrients in the body.
