WATER ELEMENT FORMULA

The water element is related to our innate wisdom. When we were born we had an inner knowing – an intuition which guided us through life, that is still there in all of us, underneath our thinking that it isn’t. We forget over time that we were born with this water energy, as we lose trust in the world and begin to fear things. The main destructive emotion of the water element is fear.

This formula helps balance an excess or deficiency of the characteristics associated with the water element: emotional; receptive; feelings; compassion; the unconscious or subconscious; intuitive; cleansing; dissolving; no shape of your own; communication through feelings; holding onto emotions; taking on feelings or emotions of others; strong ties with the past, confidence; self-awareness.

Useful for those who have one or more of the following characteristics:
fear their inner world
need to listen to their intuition
need to cultivate greater sensitivity to others
are uncomfortable with their feelings
hold onto their feelings, not allowing them to simply be felt and flow through
resent others and hold grudges
are depressed, possessive or moody
feel emotionally needy and clingy
are “psychic sponges”
withdraw into a private, fantasy world
have difficulty having emotional boundaries

The Water element, known in Sanskrit as “Jala”, is the Fourth great element and evolves from Ether or Space, Air and Fire because it contains all aspects of the other three elements. Jala represent fluidic matter and provide the body with basic nourishment, protection against dissolution, give motion and soothe pain and inflammation. It also acts as the driving force for the transportation of body fluids and nutrients in the body, as well as for the removal of body wastes just like sweat or urine out of the body. We as humans are made up of 70-75% water. It is the element that primarily protects our body and provides it with its most fundamental nourishment. Water is healing; it protects, nourishes, and binds the body together. By its qualities, water is cooling, hydrating, heavy, smooth, stagnant or inflow. It is the antidote to the symptoms that have the opposite of these qualities such as deep sensitivity, emotionally ungrounded, dehydrated, on-edge, low self-esteem or if your heart has become hardened.
